Cool runnings has box-office appeal

HEARTS boss Derek McInnes insists his pre-derby team talk will be about keeping his players calm - not getting them psyched up.

McInnes is eyeing successive victories over bitter rivals Hibs in tomorrow's televised clash at Easter Road.

The enormity of the eagerly anticipated showdown in the capital has been underpinned by Hearts leading the Premiership table.

Hibs fans are desperate to see their team take the Jambos’ scalp and dent their title charge.

Confidence will not be an issue for Hearts but McInnes knows this tinderbox fixture is all about keeping cool heads.

McInnes said: “I thought long and hard about how my approach with the players would be that week [before the last game], because you don't want complacency.

“You want to make sure they get what it’s all about, but at the same time you don't want to build it up so much that they forget to play and become too emotional.
