FAN MCKENNA IS OFF RADAR

Postecoglou is understood to be unlikely to join the race with the Aussie taking time out following his quickfire sacking at Nottingham Forest.

The Hoops have been keeping tabs on McKenna for a while with the 39-year-old building a strong reputation south of the border as a manager following coaching stints at Tottenham and Manchester United.

The Northern Irishman is on bumper wages at Portland Road and would cost Celts a cool £5million in compensation.

But McKenna insisted there have been no talks kicked off behind the scenes over an exit. He said: “It's not something I've given any thought to and where, you know, any part of my concentration is this week to be honest.

“I know I've got a really special job here at a special club, a massive football club that I have and have built a great affinity to and were in a really important season and a really important stage of the season.
