Bus driver death: Teen pleads guilty

A TEENAGER has admitted killing a bus driver by headbutting and "raining punches" on him.

Keith Rollinson, 58, died of cardiac arrest the day after the assault at Elgin bus station on February 2.

The High Court in Edinburgh yesterday heard the attack began at 10.30pm after Keith refused to let the "noticeably intoxicated" boy on his bus.

The 16-year-old, who was 15 at the time and cannot be named, had spent the evening in the town centre drinking with other youths. He had gone to catch the last bus home.

The court heard he argued with married dad Keith and apparently began filming him on his phone.

When the driver grabbed it, the teen headbutted him, before "raining punches" on his head and body.
