CHRISTMAS is a time for family, for rest and for celebration.

But too many children won't be spending this Christmas in their own home – they will instead be stuck in temporary accommodation.

There are currently 17,000 households in temporary accommodation, including 10,000 children. That is shameful.

Over 10,000 kids living in temporary accommodation – many in flats, hostels, B&Bs, hotels.

Moved place to place, sometimes more than a dozen times.

There are children in Scotland who have spent Christmas after Christmas in limbo.

One family in Glasgow has been in temporary accommodation for a staggering 13 years.

People are having their formative years uprooted by the SNP's housing emergency.

Meanwhile, others are spending the final years of their lives waiting for a home.
