Laser focus as exciting outdoor attraction unveiled

GROWING demand for leisure facilities in Wrexham has seen the unveiling of an "exciting" outdoor attraction. A new laser tag site has been launched promising “high energy battles" in the heart of the countryside.

Laser tag is a non-contact game where players use infrared guns to hit sensors on their opponents' vests. The new attraction, only the second outdoor laser tag venue in North Wales, is being hosted by Commonwood Leisure at its caravan and glamping site between Wrexham city and Holt village.

Since 2012, Commonwood has developed from a small fishery to a large outdoor leisure destination. It's run by the Dunn family, who in 2023 won North Wales Caravan and Camping Site of the Year in 2023.
