MOEEN ALI is thinking over a return to Test cricket for The Ashes
The off-spinning all-rounder has not played a red-ball match since September 2021 but is understood to have been sounded out about coming out of Test retirement to take on Australia.
The back injury that has ruled Jack Leach out of the series could mean a chance for Moeen to add to his 195 Test wickets and 65 caps.
