SCORPIO RISING is ripe for a four-timer in the EBF Betfair Novices’ Handicap Hurdle Final (1.50) at Sandown this afternoon.

The Olly Murphy-trained grey and champion jockey Sean Bowen are 3-3 this season, beginning the sequence with a success in a Perth maiden hurdle last October.

Moving into the handicap sphere, my selection doubled his career tally at Lingfield four weeks later. And he racked up the hat-trick at Windsor in the middle of January, beating Top Jimmy by a length and three-quarters.
