REFORM'S candidate in the crunch Gorton and Denton by-election mocked Robert Jenrick's use of weight-loss drugs in a series of jibes against his own party.

Controversial Matt Goodwin also warned Nigel Farage’s party risks becoming a Tory tribute act amid a raft of high-profile defections.

Mr Goodwin, who aims to beat Labour's Angeliki Stogia in the Gtr Manchester poll next week, mocked ex-top Tory Jenrick for using Ozempic.

Mr Jenrick, who joined Reform last month, has previously spoken of how he used the medication to slim down.

Last May, Mr Goodwin joked on the Peter McCormack podcast: "The thing with Jenrick though is, like somebody once said, you can take an injection for weight loss but you can't take an injection for personality."
