Too old for a job at 57?

MORE than one in five job candidates over the age of 50 don't put their age on their CV to avoid being stereotyped.

Research shows that 57 is the age at which candidates are considered "too old".

Hiring agency Totaljobs, which polled 4,000 adults, said millions of people risk being overlooked because of ageism in "entrenched" recruitment, despite companies facing a "significant" shortage of skilled workers.
