Rob Burrow's family open his dream MND centre

- LUCY THORNTON

'We're so proud...and we know dad would be too'

THE family of Rob Burrow spoke of their pride yesterday as the first purpose-built centre for MND was opened by his son.

And they hope the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease, based at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds, will be the first of many.

Rob's wife, Lindsey, told BBC Breakfast: "It's a really special day. Just incredibly proud to be here.

"This is the flagship centre but, hopefully, other centres will open. This is the first of its kind in the UK. To have this centre here in Leeds is incredibly special in Rob's name."
