A UNION chief has backed Donald Trump’s “drill, baby, drill” mantra amid demands for the government to lift a ban on new oil and gas projects in the North Sea.

Louise Gilmour, Scotland secretary for GMB Union, said: “We will always need oil and gas. I mean, I don’t like Donald Trump, but he’s right about ‘drill, baby, drill’.”
