CHRISTMAS is a time for miracles — and Wolves almost produced one at Old Trafford.
But even though the Premier League's rock-bottom side couldn't break their season's duck with a victory it didn’t stop Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim from spitting feathers.
Somehow it felt fitting that United ended 2025 by failing to beat the worst team in the top flight.
And on this evidence, there is little to suggest 2026 will be much better for a United side which has become the masters of being predictably unpredictable.
Joshua Zirkzee had fired United ahead, when his deflected shot beat keeper Jose Sa on 27 minutes.
