Davina returns to TV hosting duties

DAVINA McCall has landed her first TV presenting role since having major brain surgery — hosting her fourth dating show.

The star, 57, will take the helm for the BBC's Stranded on Honeymoon Island, which will launch later this year.

And she is particularly thrilled as it comes just a few months after her ITV matchmaking series My Mum, Your Dad was axed after its second run, having failed to pull in a big enough audience.

Davina recently said she felt "amazing" after going under the knife to have a brain tumour removed in November.

She said: "I am a serial matchmaker, so I jumped at the chance to host the BBC's new dating show.

"I can't wait to meet our couples and find out how they get on when they're Stranded on Honeymoon Island."
