Bus jump was real fun way to climb up Mount Everest!

VENTURE Scouts in Burton could claim they had been to the top of Mount Everest and back in August 1997.
The group decided they could raise a 'fare' amount of cash by repeatedly leaping off a double-decker bus.
By doing so, the 10 Venture Scouts taking part covered a combined distance of more than 58,000 feet as they jumped off the bus and then repeatedly ran back upstairs.
