Warning to farmers following cattle death

VETS are warning farmers to be vigilant for hemlock poisoning are seven cattle were found dead in a field near Bristol. An eighth was having seizures and was shot to end its suffering.

Tyndale Vets, which operates in South Gloucestershire, said it was the practice’s second case in a week. They suspect the prolonged dry weather has exposed hemlock roots with fatal consequences for thirsty cattle.
