Kalimuendo ‘honoured’ and ‘proud’ to join Forest in £25m deal

NOTTINGHAM Forest have taken their summer spending close to £100 million in the space of three days with striker Arnaud Kalimuendo following Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee to the City Ground.

Kalimuendo, pictured, has signed a five-year deal after Forest concluded a deal with Rennes to sign the 23-year-old striker, who scored 18 goals for the Ligue 1 side last season, in a deal worth £25 million.

The deal comes after a weekend that had already seen Forest spend a club record £37.5m to sign Hutchinson from Ipswich and £30m to get midfielder McAtee from Manchester City.

Kalimuendo is primarily a central striker but can also play in the wide positions.
