Haryana has emerged as the epicentre of India's sporting revolution where raw talent, relentless determination and visionary governance converge to produce champions. Though comprising just two percent of the nation's population, the state keeps delivering over half of India's Olympic medals, a testament to its extraordinary athletic culture and robust sports infrastructure.

From Fields To Podium

The state’s dominance on the global stage is remarkable. At the Tokyo Olympics 2020, 32 of India’s 126 athletes were from Haryana, winning one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Nine Haryanvi women led India’s hockey team to a near-podium finish. The state’s athletes also excelled in the Tokyo Paralympics, securing six of India’s medals.
