Haryana has redefined housing development with equity at its core. Through 'Housing for All', the state hasn't just built structures, it has rebuilt lives. From makeshift shelters to permanent homes marks a powerful journey on the road to social uplift and inclusive growth

Nurturing Urban Dreams on Rural Foundation Haryana's Housing Push Gains Pace

The Haryana Government's vision of "a home for everyone" is steadily becoming a reality. Established in December 2020, the Housing for All Department has emerged as a beacon of hope for the economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG). The mission goes beyond construction—it aims to foster dignity, empowerment, and social equity through sustainable housing.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), 67,649 houses have been approved; 22,102 have been completed and 11,107 are under construction. Through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), 34,723 beneficiaries have received ₹664 crore in financial aid so far; each one eligible for a subsidy of up to ₹2.5 lakh — ₹1.5 lakh from the Centre, and ₹1 lakh from the state.

CLSS: Empowering Homeownership

The Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) has fulfilled the housing aspirations of thousands. So far, 44,731 beneficiaries have availed themselves of home loans worth ₹8,461 crore, with ₹989 crore disbursed as interest subsidies.

Rural areas are also experiencing a change. Under PMAY (Rural), 28,882 permanent houses have been completed. For FY 2024-25, the state had set a target of 69,325 new homes.
