Formidable office support Margo Martins and sweet-natured PC Kelby Hartford may seem like chalk and cheese, but their sibling-style dynamic and unwavering support of each other has made their friendship a cornerstone of BBC1's hit whodunnit Beyond Paradise.

As the third series of the Death in Paradise spin-off adventure continues this week, Kelby (played by Dylan Llewellyn) is on the case to help an old school friend, Emily Buswell (Showtrial's Abra Thompson), who is being stalked. Meanwhile, Margo (Felicity Montagu) makes it her mission to help Kelby sort out his love life. But can she find him a Ms Right? Here, Felicity, 64, and Dylan, 32, tell TV Times about the unusual bond between their characters and why life in the fictional Devon town of Shipton Abbott couldn't be better....

This week's episode sees Kelby step up to help colleague DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) with an investigation after his old friend Emily becomes the target of threatening messages. What can you reveal about the story?

DYLAN It involves a childhood sweetheart of Kelby's falling victim to online abuse, which brings back some personal connections for him. I think viewers will love how the cases this season intertwine with the characters' personal lives - and, of course, they'll love Kelby and Margo's banter! We hear Margo is trying to find a love match for Kelby.

How does that go? DYLAN Kelby had a crush on Chief Superintendent Charlie Woods [played by Jade Harrison], but I think he's accepting that she's not into him as much as he's into her! So he's moving on to the dating apps in this season, and Margo's helping him to get out there.
