Based on the novel by author Araminta Hall, the eight-parter follows three women - Eleanor (Scandal’s Kerry Washington), Nancy (Pose’s Kate Mara) and Mary (The Handmaid’s Tale’s Elisabeth Moss) - who have been best friends since meeting at college.

Now in their 40s, and having navigated relationships, families and careers together, Eleanor and Mary's lives are shattered and deadly secrets exposed when Nancy, who has been having an affair, is found brutally murdered.
