Sana squirrel and her daughter Tannu lived on a jamun tree.
Shelly and Sana were best friends, which was why their daughters were also friends. When all four were together, they had lots of fun.
"It feels so good over here; I was suffocating in my hole," Sana said while she took deep breaths.
"You can think of this as your home and come every day," Shelly said. Since her nest was on the peepal tree, there was plenty of oxygen. "Come inside, and let's have a chat," she added.
Shelly took Sana inside her nest, which she had decorated with great care and affection.
"I have got jamuns for you and Chippy."
"These jamuns from your tree are very sweet," Shelly said after eating some.
"Good morning, Aunty Sana," Chippy was pleased to see Tannu and Sana.
"Good morning, Chippy," Sana replied to Chippy lovingly.
"You did the right thing by bringing Tannu with you. Now, the two of them can play together, and we can spend some time chatting too."
"Ma, can we play together on the top branch?" Chippy and Tannu asked together.
