Aditya Singh Ratnu is the CEO and Managing Director of ZEVO (Zero Emission Vehicle Operation), India's first electric vehicle supply chain-as-a-service platform. Since its launch in 2022, ZEVO has emerged as a frontrunner in sustainable logistics, offering end-to-end solutions — from first-mile procurement to temperature-controlled last-mile delivery.

INDIA'S BEST CEO- A Drive Towards A Greener Tomorrow

With a background as a Chartered Accountant and years of experience at companies like PwC, Maruti Suzuki, Motherson Sumi, Goodyear, and TVS Group, Aditya's journey reflects a rare mix of financial discipline and entrepreneurial boldness. ZEVO, under his leadership, has built a fleet of over 2,500 EVs and is rapidly expanding. Awards from IAF and Inc42 only reaffirm ZEVO's standing as one of the most promising startups in India's clean mobility space.

Aditya's long-term vision is clear: to have 5,00,000 EVs on the road by 2030 and to place ZEVO among the top EV logistics players in India. Beyond work, he enjoys music, movies, playing badminton, and geeking out over documentaries on battery tech and nuclear fusion.

What inspired you to launch ZEVO, and what was the founding vision?

The spark came from wanting to build something with purpose, something that created environmental and social impact. Dhruv (my co-founder) and I have been friends since childhood. We're both CAs, but beyond numbers, we always had a shared interest in sustainability and mobility.

Around the time e-commerce and delivery logistics were booming, we noticed the environmental damage from using traditional ICE vehicles. We also saw a gap, there wasn't a reliable, electric-first logistics platform, especially for temperature-sensitive deliveries. That's when ZEVO was born.

Our aim isn't just to run a logistics company. We're building a sustainable ecosystem that uplifts gig workers, supports small businesses, and reimagines last-mile mobility. By 2030, we want ZEVO to be a leader in scale and in the positive change it creates.
