The Rockefeller: a vibrant oasis in Cape Town's revamped Foreshore
Farmer's Weekly
|October 20, 2023
Brian Berkman says this edgy hotel and apartments complex makes access to the N1 and N2 a breeze.

Like its New York namesake, The Rockefeller Hotel & Residences, located in Cape Town’s Foreshore business district, epitomises the vibrancy and excitement of urban city living. Modern, avant-garde and elegant, the 220-room hotel, managed by Newmark Hotels & Reserves, opened its doors less than two years ago, in December 2021.
With convenient access to both the N1 and N2 national roads, the property stands among the recently upgraded and newly constructed developments that have transformed the once commercial South African Railways and Harbours hub. Situated close to the Cape Town Civic Centre and the Artscape Theatre Complex, this precinct is also undergoing a residential revitalisation.
