Robo-Park in Kerala: Introducing Cutting-Edge Technologies to Common People
Bisinfotech
|May 2025
Inker Robotics, a company founded by a group of innovative technocrats, R&D enthusiasts, and strategic partners, aims to create a vibrant ecosystem for robotics and emerging technologies.

They are currently working to establish a 'Robo Park' at Thrissur in Kerala. Manas Nandi, Editor-In-Chief of BIS Infotech and EV Mechanica, interacted with Rahul P Balachandran, the Founder & Managing Director at Inker Robotics, in an E-Interview. The interview is mainly focused on Robopark and the support Inker Robotics got from the government in implementing the project.
What are the primary objectives of establishing RoboPark in Thrissur? How does it aim to democratize access to futuristic technologies?
RoboPark was conceived with a clear purpose—to bridge the gap between people and emerging technologies by creating an ecosystem that is interactive, inclusive, and future-ready. Thrissur, often called the learning city of Kerala, is home to a vibrant academic community, with numerous colleges, schools, and educational institutions. This made it the ideal location to launch India's first robotics-themed experiential hub. By placing RoboPark in the heart of such a knowledge-rich environment, we're not just reaching curious minds—we're embedding innovation where it can take root and grow. The objective is to make advanced technologies like robotics, AI, IoT, AR/VR, and automation accessible to everyone—students, educators, families, tourists, and industry professionals—regardless of background or technical expertise. Through interactive zones like RoboLand, structured programs under Teknowledge Academy, and mobile outreach via the RoboBus, we are ensuring that technology is not confined to textbooks or elite labs but brought directly to people in a way that is hands-on, affordable, and deeply engaging. By leveraging Thrissur's academic strength and geographical centrality, RoboPark aims to democratize future tech, spark curiosity across all age groups, and inspire a generation of learners, innovators, and problem-solvers who see technology as a part of their everyday lives, not something distant or out of reach.
