MUSING MUSEUMS

A few months back, when I was in Budapest, I walked into a building that left me awestruck. The inquisitive me went on to explore, and I discovered that it was a museum with pixels on the exterior and that the curved structure of the building dipped underground to form the interiors, even as the garden I was walking on was the green roof of the building that interjected at street level! Woah! I quickly took some pictures and went on to research this building, and the more I read about it, the more I fell in love with it. And then of course I had to share it with you all!

And that is how the idea of the cover story came about. Museums have become storytellers, giving you a hint of what to expect within, uncovering the nature of their offering and becoming an experiential journey. We present to you four such lesser-known museums from around the world that may not be as popular as the bigger names we all know of, but just as breathtaking, futuristic and contextual as museums should be.
