Robert Wagner is once more named as a suspect in her mystery death

The mysterious circumstances surrounding the drowning death of Hollywood legend Natalie Wood – and her husband Robert Wagner’s possible involvement – are set to be re-examined once more after a new US district attorney claims there is “enough doubt” to reopen the case.

“It appears there’s enough doubt as to what happened that night that a second look is warranted,” says newly elected Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, 66. “What’s more, that review shouldn’t have to wait.”

Natalie died during a boozy weekend aboard the couple’s 55-foot yacht, Splendour, in 1981, aged just 43. At the time she was on a production break from the film Brainstorm and had invited her co-star, Pulp Fiction’s Christopher Walken, to join her and Robert aboard their boat, which was moored off the coast of California’s Catalina Island.
