India is the prime producer of Moringa (Drumstick) with an annual production of 2.2 million tonnes of tender fruits leading to the productivity of 51 tonnes per ha. Tamil Nadu is the largest producer of Moringa with an annual production of 6.71 lakh tonnes of tender fruits from an area of 13042 ha.
