Subaru Forester 2.0i-L

Generally speaking, our vehicles are capable of more than we put them through. While they’re perfectly happy going on the straight roads from our homes, to our offices, to the grocery store, when pushed, they can do amazing things. This holds even truer for Subaru’s Forester. A highly capable city vehicle, it’s capable of greater things that one might think. We got to take one out for a road trip well outside of the city limits to see what else the compact SUV is capable of.

Boracay A Restored Paradise

The Philippines is a country that has been blessed with abundant natural resources. Both local and foreign tourists are drawn to one of its islands which has capture the international spotlight through its crystal blue waters, fine white sand, and marvelous sunset views. Boracay has always been a crown jewel of the country’s tourism industry. However, due to commercialization and various environmental issues, it had to close its doors for extensive rehabilitation.

Spread The Campus Vibe

There is always something students look forward to during class opening. It could be the smell of new stuff or the joy of seeing school friends after a two-month vacation. Having new stuff motivates students to get used to the routine of an early morning commute. And it helps to have something to keep your mind off the traffic or when queueing to get a ride. School has always been fun. Make it even more memorable with tools to help you muster months of crunching codes or churning out words in literature class.

Mordhau

Several years ago, I was very intrigued by a game called Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It was one of a handful of successful mods that arose from the Half-life series. One of my biggest complaints is that combat was very clunky and the learning curve was extremely high (think trying to master rocket science in a high school physics class). Regardless, it was one of the first first-person multiplayer medieval combat games out there. Its awkwardness and steep learning curve didn’t keep my attention for too long.

Above Sea Level Seafood Restaurant

Maginhawa street in Teacher’s Village has a solid reputation of being a center for cheap, interesting eats. The dormitories and apartments nearby create the perfect market for the food parks and restaurants that the area is now known for. Of the many restaurants that can be found all along the street, Above Sea Level caught our attention thanks to its particular food offerings.

In And Around Japan

As a tourist, getting to Japan is now easier and less expensive. Discounted airfares are frequently offered by many of the local and international airlines and can be availed of through promos from the various credit card companies. In addition to the lower airfare, getting a tourist visa is a lot simpler—you don’t even have to make an appearance at the Japanese Embassy.

Transformers Earth Wars

From fashion to cartoons, the 80s came back and it looks like they’re here to stay. He-Man, G.I. Joes, Microman, even the ThunderCats keep showing up all over the media of late. None of this is surprising since the whole retro thing is a huge hit with millennials. While the Transformers franchise technically didn’t die down thanks to a string of Michael Bay movies and a never ending supply of action figures, they’ve not invaded another media space: video games.

LG K10 2017

There’s a common trend in smartphones today: a unibody design. But to achieve this, manufacturers have let go of this one feature that makes smartphones appear bulky, which is removable batteries. This feature, however, is favored by many as you can just swap out a dead battery instead of buying a new handset. Meanwhile, LG found a way to make their newest batch of K smartphones appear slim without removing this essential feature.

Iphone 8 Rumour Roundup

Last year, we saw the iPhone 7. And although many were looking forward to a new design and impressive new features, Apple released a phone with a nearly identical two-year-old design, an OS that still looked the same, and airpods in lieu of the 3.5mm headphone jack. It seemed like a minor “S” upgrade; many were disappointed, while some brand loyalists, rejoiced. This year, we’re looking at the release of Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone. With just months of the expected release, there’s plenty to speculate about, and a lot to actually look forward to. Here, we have a rumor roundup.

Destination:Omaha,Nebraska

Of all the cities in continental USA, Omaha, Nebraska would probably be the last place anyone from outside of the United States would ever think of visiting as a tourist. If my sister and her family did not live there, it probably wouldn't be in my map either. But of the few US cities I've visited so far, including New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, Omaha has become one of my favorite stops in the USA.

Transcend Drivepro Body 20

If a picture paints a thousand words, then Full HD video at 30 FPS should paint 1,800,000 words per minute. In a world where criminal elements come in all shapes, forms, and attire, it wouldn’t hurt to have some video evidence to back your story up. Meant primarily for security and police personnel, the Transcend Drivepro Body 20 is a body camera that’s meant to be kept on your person, recording at all times, just in case.
