It’s been over 15 years since The Ellen DeGeneres Show first aired. And now, Woman’s Day can reveal that the comedian is planning a shock exit from the daytime TV hit – because her wife Portia de Rossi is laying down the law!

And that’s not all. Sources believe a departure from her show could mean Ellen, 60, and Portia, 45, are finally ready to start a family together!

“Ellen has always brushed off claims that she’s having a baby with Portia because she just hasn’t had the time. But if she wasn’t working almost every single day, of course that would change things,” one friend reveals.

“Ellen adores kids, and while she never saw it happening for herself, who knows what the future could hold if she had a little more time on her hands!”

According to those close to the couple, who recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary, Portia has been keen for Ellen to take a step back for some time.
