Q. How different is the iEGR on BSVI CV Mid-NOx system as compared to the BSIV CVs?
A. There’s not much change in the iEGR system; it is the same. Increasing the power and torque by turbocharging, we have been able to control the amount of NOx coming out of the engine. So, essentially one half of the NOx is at the iEGR stage, and the other half is at the SCR stage. The particulate matter is controlled by the DPF. The Mid-NOx could be defined such that the NOx control happens at the engine level as well as at the exhaust level.
Q. How many engines are you migrating to BSVI?
