प्रदेश में इस बार डिजिटल गन्ना पर्ची से पर्यावरण संरक्षण में इतिहास रचेगा। लॉकडाउन में शत प्रतिशत एसएमएस गना पर्ची का प्रयोग सफल होने पर गन्ना विकास व चीनी उद्योग विभाग ने अब कागज पर गना पर्ची की छपाई को बंद करने का आदेश जारी कर दिया है।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति (सीसीई) की बैठक में गन्ना किसानों के लिए बड़ा फैसला लिया गया है। सरकार ने वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के लिए गन्ने की एफआरपी (फेयर एंड रिम्यूनरेटिव प्राइस) को 10 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल बढ़ाने के लिए मंजूरी दे दी है।
