चीनी निर्यात में ब्राजील से मिल रही है चुनौती

शुगर सीजन 2019-20 (अक्टूबर सितंबर) के शुरुआती आठ महीने में 42 लाख टन चीनी का निर्यात किया है, लेकिन अगले चार महीने में आठ लाख टन निर्यात होना भी मुश्किल है, क्योंकि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में भारतीय चीनी को ब्राजील से कड़ी शिकस्त मिल रही है। वहीं, कोरोना काल में घरेलू मांग भी नरम पड़ गई।

एथेनॉल का उत्पादन होगा 350 करोड़ लीटर

बयान चीनी मिलों ने नवंबर को समाप्त आपूर्ति वर्ष में तेल विपणन कंपनियों (ओएमसी) को 170 करोड़ लीटर एथेनॉल की आपूर्ति के लिये अनुबंध किया जो पिछले साल की तुलना में कम है। इसमें से अब तक 92.5 करोड़ लीटर की आपूर्ति की गयी है।
