While regularly doing yoga can lower your risk of falling by stabilizing your trunk, German scientists reporting in Gait & Posture found you can improve your balance instantly by clenching your fist when you’re standing and walking. Tightening a muscle in one part of your body activates the whole body’s system for maintaining balance, shoring up your footing.

To stay steady indoors, like when getting up from a deepset couch or walking on a plush carpet, spray a scented room spray or light a candle. Japanese researchers say that inhaling any aroma you enjoy stimulates areas of the brain that improve stability.
Melt belly fat fust!
Gentle stretches can slim your middle better than vigorous workouts. A new study in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that folks who do tai chi, or slow movements and stretches, shed nearly 38% more fat from their waistline than those who do moderate-intensity exercise. Tai chi tones abdominal muscles, plus it relaxes you, which reduces bellyfat buildup due to stress.
