"My pain is finally gone!"
Woman's World
|July 21, 2025
For years, Marcella Sandoval's knee pain kept her from doing the things she loved most—like playing with her grandchildren. When surgery didn't provide relief, her daughter suggested a surprising solution: sea moss. Full of minerals and anti-inflammatory compounds, it eased Marcella's pain and restored her energy
-
Marcella Sandoval, 76, sat slumped on her living room couch, staring longingly out the window at the Colorado mountains. She once loved to hike the trails and take in the stunning vistas, but now... Is this really how I will have to live? This is an absolute nightmare, Marcella thought as her reality began setting in and tears filled her eyes. What if I really can't ever hike again?
Her dream of getting back outside to do the activities she loved most was entirely out of reach because of the agonizing pain in her joints. Her body felt impossibly heavy. Her mind was constantly lost in a fog. And her to-do list was often pushed aside due to waves of exhaustion.
There were many days when Marcella wasn't sure how she would get out of bed. Constantly having to worry about how she would tolerate her pain levels became her new normal. Her joints throbbed, and her emotions weighed her down.
I feel like I'm disappearing, she thought as her spirit shattered.
Marcella had just gone through knee replacement surgery and had expected a typical recovery. She had been hopeful that the surgery would quell the pain enough to allow her to live somewhat of an active lifestyle again. But unfortunately, her results were the opposite.
