Korie talks family, faith & fun!

As any fan of the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty knows, star Korie Robertson is full of gratitude for her close-knit clan. With their deep faith and patriotism, the family never shies away from celebrating what matters most— including honoring heroes on Memorial Day. For Korie Robertson, Memorial Day is a time to honor the sacrifices of our military heroes and their loved ones including her own kin.

"Both of my granddads were veterans and so is Uncle Si, so Memorial Day means a lot to our family," she tells Woman's World.

"We definitely learned to have a lot of respect for our country and the men and women who have fought and died for our freedom." Korie is looking forward to spending the holiday with the Robertson crew, who will be in new episodes of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, airing May 28.

"This little comedy about our family impacted people in more ways than we could have even imagined. God did that," the 51-year-old says with a smile.

"It opened our eyes to the power of entertainment and it became my real prayer that what we do would be a light in the world." Here, Korie shares her keys to lasting peace, joyful purpose and having a little fun along the way.
