In which my sister reveals all about the vicar

After last week's exciting episode, you will naturally want to know why my little sister Deb was zooming through town on the back of the vicar’s motorbike.

Sit back in your most comfortable armchair. Ensure that a mug of tea or coffee is at hand, and you might even think that a couple of chocolate Hobnobs are in order because all is about to be revealed.

‘So,’ I said. ‘What exactly were you doing on the back of the vicar’s bike?’

We are at The Cosy Little Cafe In The Park, and we are sitting outside. You might think that reckless in this weather, especially for a woman of my great age, but we have picked this spot specially so that nobody can hear us.

If Deb has secrets, they will be safe. Anyway, I am wearing a thick fleece, a thick coat, and two woolly hats. If the cold can get through that lot, good luck to it.

You might remember that this all started when Deb discovered that the vicar wears leather trousers, and I explained that this was nothing special because he rides a motorbike.

The next thing we knew, she and the vicar were roaring past Mr Dear as he emerged from the woods, struggling to assert his personality over two dogs.
