Gemma Stevens, 34, needed a wedding dress that had stood the test of time
Introducing my new partner Jolyon to Grandma Enid, then 87, she smiled. 'He's nice,' she whispered.
It was December 2022 and I'd only been dating Jolyon for a few weeks, but getting Grandma's approval meant everything to me. She liked him so much, she even used their first meeting as an excuse to get her wedding photos out to show us. 'I love your dress Grandma,' I smiled, admiring her cream coloured kneelength roll-neck gown in the 1958 photo.
