It's a difficult feat to try and capture the legacy of our late Queen in urban London.
But after a yearlong competition for a memorial to honour Britain's longest-reigning monarch, the winner is, in effect, a complete redesign of St James' Park.
It's fitting that Elizabeth II could see the park from Buckingham Palace.
And now Lord Norman Foster's design involves three statues, a new bridge inspired by the late Queen's wedding tiara, two new gates and two new gardens.
