Seeing things DIFFERENTLY

They were on the holiday of a lifetime – so why was Judy's husband unhappy?

Keith screamed as he leapt out of the way. The wild-looking animal glared at him, gave a loud grunt and bared its sharp teeth. That was more than enough for Keith. Any ideas of bravery or overcoming his long-held fears vanished in an instant.

Judy shouted across the sand, doing little to hide her impatience. 'Well? Have you decided? Are you getting on that camel or not? Mine's getting twitchy over here.'

'Definitely not. I'll wait here.'

He watched as Judy climbed onto the back of her waiting camel. Her distinctive laugh filled the air as she shared a joke with her trusty shadow, Deepak, before they rode side by side through the golden sand dunes, under the deep red sky of the setting sun.

Keith sighed. Of course he wasn't going to ride a camel. Judy knew all about the donkey incident that started this fear. But with the events of the past weeks, she seemed to have forgotten everything she ever knew about him.

He shivered, grateful that the intense heat of the day had given way to a pleasant evening breeze. But before he could stop himself, his mind had gone back to the phone call that changed everything.

'Can you believe it?' Judy had yelled down the phone. 'Home or Away have just phoned. 'I've won top prize!'

He'd been so excited. Home or Away were famous for their lavish prizes and Judy had entered their competitions for years, with minimal success.

'I could choose from a brand-new motorhome. Or a celebrity experience, all-expenses-paid holiday to Dubai! I didn't even need to think about it.'

Keith had immediately drifted into the perfect daydream of their future lives. King and queen of the open road, going anywhere they wanted, whenever they wanted. Until Judy's next words tore everything apart... 'They need our passport details. Dubai, here we come!'
