Grabbing a selection of snacks for the kids, bread and milk, I headed towards the checkout.

Scanning my items, I saw the price creep up.

As a dad of seven, the food shop is always expensive.

But with my trusty Clubcard, I knew I’d get some bargains.

Pulling out my wallet, I frowned.

Not again, I thought, frustrated.

I’d lost my Tesco Clubcard for the hundredth time.

The small blue rectangle was just always being misplaced!

Reluctantly paying full price, I carried my goodies home.

Knowing I would probably be back later to grab more household goods, I resolved to find my Clubcard.

But this wasn’t the first time.

Every time I would pop into Tesco – either for one of the kids or on my lunch break from my job as a scaffolder – I would realise I had lost my card again.

And while it was only something small, I liked to save the pennies wherever I could.

And when I booked myself in for a leg tattoo in July last year, I had an idea.

I already had a few tattoos and was keen to add more.

What if I could always have my Clubcard on me? I thought. On my body to be exact…
