Jeremy's applauding our educators - but not for the reason you'd expect

I'd like to extend my appreciation to teachers. I'm certain I'm joined by the vast majority of parents in thanking the hard-working, underpaid custodians of our darlings for their mentoring, educating and, most importantly, caring of our offspring.

I don’t think I need make any argument as to why they’re so deserving of our gratitude and although I’ve heard money doesn’t grow on trees, I fully support felling a few forests to give them the compensation they deserve. If I had the option of ticking a box to whom my tax dollars go, they would be up there with nurses, police and TV hosts.
