I've been out replenishing my underwear supplies. I do it at the Farmer's sales. I don't take Linda with me any more because when there are people within earshot, you don't want to be discussing underpants.

Linda would ask questions like, “Still comfortable in large? The ones you've been wearing seem a bit tight.”

I'd tell her to shush. She’d say in an even louder voice, “No one cares about your underpants, including me. Just trying to help.”

I know they don’t care, but they hear. So I now do that part of my shopping on my own. Linda happily heads off to peruse womenswear.
