The world's a funny old place at the moment. Working in talk radio, I can't escape the news and let's face it, bad news is what commands the headlines.

It's everywhere. From the women who tell me on the street how much they love what I'm wearing, to the people who give up their place in the queue at the supermarket because I only have a few things, to the drivers who let you into a long line of traffic.
