The mid-morning sun cast a honey-gold glint over the grey cobblestoned path leading to the Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas near Rishikesh, tucked between cliffs and clouds. Behind us, dramatic landscapes, the Ganga emerging from the mountains, and soft mist created a cinematic backdrop. We were about to shoot an editorial ode to weddings, honeymoons, and destinations that inspire love. Amid lens flares, cameras, and a bustling entourage, actors Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya radiated quiet, effortless intimacy, their connection undisturbed by the motion around them. Rishikesh has been special to me over the years, having shot many films here. But this trip will always be the most memorable—it’s our first trip and cover shoot together, says Sutaria, a smile leaving lingering traces of love and nostalgia.
