London's culinary hub Carousel brings main character energy to Guy Ritchie's Wiltshire estate this summer

PACK YOUR TWEED and a considerable appetite for Carousel’s chef supper club series, taking place every weekend at Guy Ritchie's Ashcombe Estate until 27 September. Following last year’s successful run, the experience has been upgraded from a single meal to an entire weekend affair for 16 lucky guests, complete with a two-night stay, outdoor activities and a one-off tasting menu cooked over fire.

imageThe weekends begin with a wood-fired dinner in the Old Brewery, where arched ceilings, stone walls and candlelit tables spotlight Carousel's elevated (yet unpretentious) cooking. We dined on succulent monkfish with smoked butter, guajillo and kelp, alongside pillowy flatbread with a dollop of curry leaf butter. As warm-up acts go, it's one hell of a feast.
