The small but mighty iPhone 14 brings moderate upgrades, so is this Apple upgrade worth considering?

To many an Apple fan the iPhone 14 could be seen as just an 'iPhone 13S' - because the design, screen and processor in both iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 are one and the same. But, as ever with the iPhone, it's all about familiarity: it doesn't shake the tree too hard, delivers on what's tried, tested and is frankly loved by millions of people.

The iPhone 14 is really a carbon copy of the iPhone 13. It's the same size and (near enough) weight and features the same 6.1-inch display with a notch top and centre.

It's a bit of a shame Apple hasn't upped the refresh rate of the iPhone 14's screen with ProMotion, as the iPhone 14 is 60Hz only, not the adaptive 120Hz of the Pro and Pro Max.

That shift in fluidity would make for greater smoothness.
