Lamborghini’s new Urus SE marks a revolutionary step in the world of high-performance SUVs, combining plug-in hybrid technology with the brand’s hallmark power and luxury. As the first plug-in hybrid in Lamborghini’s lineup, the Urus SE redefines expectations with a blend of cutting-edge technology, superior performance, and aerodynamic refinement. It is more environmentally sustainable but without compromising on the high performance which the brand stands for.

Powertrain and Performance

At the heart of the Urus SE is an advanced hybrid powertrain that seamlessly integrates a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a potent electric motor. The combustion engine delivers a substantial 620 CV (456 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, while the electric motor contributes an additional 192 CV (141 kW) and 483 Nm. Combined, these units produce a formidable total output of 800 CV (588 kW) and 950 Nm of torque, propelling the Urus SE from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and achieving a top speed of 312 km/h. This impressive power ensures the Urus SE stands as the most powerful and fastest production SUV in its class.

The 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery, strategically placed below the load floor, provides an all-electric range exceeding 60 km. The integration of the electric motor into the 8-speed automatic transmission allows the Urus SE to function as a 100% electric all-wheel-drive vehicle when necessary. This hybrid system enhances the SUV’s performance, offering more torque and power at any RPM through the innovative electric torque vectoring system and an electronic rear differential.
