It is now capable of recording high dynamic range (HDR) video at 5.3K and 4K resolutions. GoPro HERO12 Black is also the company’s first action camera that supports wireless headphones, such as Apple AirPods.

The company has also improved the waterproofing for the camera, which is now waterproof up to 33 feet, and even the lens has a water-repellent cover. With a built-in Horizon lock, the action camera can also capture smooth 360-degree videos. GoPro HERO12 Black comes with two screens and the new 27 MP sensor. It offers a 177° field of view with Max Lens Mod 2.0 technology, and the camera can capture 24.7 MP stills while shooting videos. On a single charge, the new GoPro action camera can record for 1.5 hours at 5.3K30 resolution or 2.5 hours at 1080p30
