Now that we have your attention. We'd like to introduce you to the actual sucker... the Deebot N8+

We’ve all seen these pesky robots whizz around like drunken sailors for a while. But the Deebot N8+ changes all that. Sort of. Well for starters it comes at a relatively more affordable price point for the features it offers and secondly it has the tech to back it up.

The overall build quality is nothing that impressive or something that would wow us. It’s pretty standard stuff that you’d expect at this price. The plastic shell of the robot itself and the housing unit of the dock feel sturdy enough and aren’t cheap.

The N8+ is a machine with a personality of its own, a vacuum with a sense of purpose and a drive to clean every nook and cranny of your home. Thanks to its advanced mapping and navigation system, it moves around your house with the grace and poise of a ballerina once it has chalked out the map.

There’s two rotating brushes at the front that swoop in pet hair and dust and any other bits on the floor into the main vacuum in the centre. It is pretty efficient, but long hair and shoe laces are it’s nemesis.
