After a few years of avoiding the Indian market, the Google Pixel devices have once again washed ashore and this time, Google got the premium slabs to tempt us.

Sticking to the basics of smartphone building, the Google Pixel devices are not here to tempt you with shiny backsides and LED-laced rears. What you see here is a safe design with enough Al smarts under the dull exterior to confuse even the most hardcore Clark Kent fans.

The aluminium sides bleed into the camera module and the whole aluminium sides are made from 100% recycled materials.

Although the aluminium started collecting scratches very quickly. There's wireless Qi-charging here as well but the rear glass panel is a fingerprint magnet. All things considered, the Pixel 7 series looks a bit more sophisticated now. You won't find the dual-tone finish at the back and Google has also not used bright colours on the lock button.

Both, the Google Pixel 7 and the 7 Pro are curved from the back. It sits in your hand comfortably and doesn't dig into your skin. The 7 Pro has a slightly curved display around the edges making the side bezels look a tad smaller. If you're looking for something smaller, the Pixel 7 is a shrunk down version of its Pro model minus a few extras.
